To promote and launch a unique portfolio of Grade 2 listed design-led apartments and aparthotels in the Ducie Street area of Manchester.
The Native group have rapidly expanded from London into Glasgow, and more recently in the extremely competitive hotel and residential region of Manchester, with the development – and subsequent launch in mid-September 2019 – of a range of design-led apartments and aparthotels in the Ducie Street Warehouse.
Although the business model for Native exists, we were brought in to offer local knowledge of the Manchester area, potential clientele, and prospective users of the exceptional new hotel.
Our remit was to build relationships and raise awareness that Native was coming to the City by utilising our extensive connections network within the region. We focussed primarily on the football and sporting venues and the music culture sector within Manchester, promoting the hotel as a conferencing and events venue alongside the inbound corporate and leisure travel offering.
We were responsible for driving and building Native Manchester partnerships, awareness and networking within the North West whilst exploring and delivering the overseas opportunities that existed for the Native group. By utilising our connections within hospitality, and sporting venue contacts in and around the Manchester area, we were able to generate significant sales and forward commitments for Native.
As the front-end interface for high revenue accounts, we primarily targeted the higher revenue generating long stay bookings (from 1 to 6 months and beyond) for those wanting to enjoy ‘urban chic’ in the heart of the fashionable Northern Quarter.
We were able to generate considerable interest from blue chip companies within the business and banking sector as well as local venues, which generated direct sales for the launch date of 16th September 2019 as well as commitment considerably beyond that date.
Since completing the pre-sales promotion and subsequent support function linked to the official launch of the event, we have been retained on a consultancy basis to further promote the venue as brand ambassadors.
We continue to generate business for them on an ongoing basis, and Native Manchester has since received critical acclaim from the UK media and has been voted The Times Best Hotel in the North of England 2019.
